Combine charity fundraising with de-cluttering your home and re-using resources!
Thank you, Quakers!
The Quaker Meetings in Norwich, Sheringham and Beccles have each very kindly hosted a Recycling Project sack in their Friends’ Meeting Houses in 2022. These were filled with people’s unwanted old…
- jewellery & watches (in any material even if damaged or broken)
- currency – Any coins or banknotes, UK & foreign (even if out of circulation)
- mobile phones
- cameras (old film, digital and video)
- stamps (loose, single, albums, first day covers, presentation packs, collections)
- gadgets (Sat-Navs, Ipods, MP3 players, games consoles, games & accessories)
When a sack reached 10kg or more, they rang Recycling for Good Causes and it was collected and taken away for recycling. A bit later, a cheque arrived at DDP – about £40 per sack – for which we were very grateful.
