DDP concert: United in Harmony!

Charity Concert for DDP, St Peter Mancroft Church, Norwich, 21 October 2022

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and came along to the Fine City Chorus United In Harmony! concert for DDP on Friday 21 October. It was well attended and a really enjoyable experience.

Our trustee Chris Coles spoke on behalf of DDP, thanking Fine City Chorus for making us its charity this year, the Musical Directors Carol Logan from FCC, Alison Thompson from Norwich Harmony and Alice Payne from Mosaic – and to all the singers for uniting their voices in harmony for our cause.

DDP is especially grateful for all this support and solidarity, since it’s such a difficult time in the UK, too, with inequality and vulnerability on the rise. We will put all the proceeds from tickets, raffle and donations into our work with some of the world’s poorest and most marginalized people.

Thanks to Bob, Mike and Brian from FCC, to Pete for the photos, and everyone else who lent a helping hand. Raffle prizes were generously donated by Norwich pubs The Fat Cat Brewery Tap, The Maid’s Head in Old Catton and The Angel Gardens (thanks to roving ambassador Ian Scott), Bob Ledwidge, Eliz Dwyer, Chris Durdin and Kim Mayfield.
