Our vision is a society where disabled men and women, boys and girls, and the most vulnerable in society have equal social, economic and civil rights.
Inclusion and partnership is at the heart of everything we do where disabled and vulnerable people actively engage in and lead ideas for change and equality of opportunity especially in areas of health, education and livelihoods. Our programmes benefit disabled children and adults, carers of disabled people, and people with disabilities that are not so obvious such as deafness and mental illness and the most vulnerable in society such as returnees and internally displaced peoples.
Our approach to partnership is responsive and flexible and together with our partners we translate ideas into tangible and effective programmes.
Current DDP partnerships and projects are in Ethiopia, India, Burundi, Nepal and Mozambique.
